Tropical Modernism Reborn
Originally a dark, cedar-heavy villa, this property required a significant update for the rental market whilst effectively managing the challenges of high humidity. Rather than fighting the warm cedar tones, we allowed them to remain the quiet heart of the new scheme. We introduced Polytec wall linings to frame the bed area without risking mould and utilised non-slip tiles to create a seamless indoor-outdoor transition. A new gas-strut window transformed the kitchen into a poolside bar, maximising light and entertaining potential. The result is a dated tropical residence quietly reborn as timeless, contemporary calm retreat.
